Plant control system checks
Plant control system checks are offered to ensure that your control system functions perfectly. Primarily, these checks are directed at inspecting the hardware and software for the control systems (PC and PLC) and with checking back ups, configurations and set ups. Checks of this kind should be carried out at least once a year and include a list of recommended updates and modifications. Each plant control system check is carried out in 5 stages:
Stage | Content |
1. System check | Inspection of hardware and software
|
2. Report | Preparation of a report on the system check together with a list of recommended maintenance tasks. The report includes details of the work involved, spare parts required and a maintenance work schedule. The tasks outlined in the following stages are only carried out with the customer’s authorization. |
3. Execution | The work outlined in the report is carried out as authorized by the customer. |
4. Final functionality test | If necessary calibration is performed, followed by a test run with production products. Standby services are provided for at least one shift. |
5. Finalization | A final report is prepared and countersigned by the customer. |
