Dürr opts for a pioneering energy concept for Campus

Dürr has developed a sustainable energy concept for its extended facilities at the Bietigheim-Bissingen location. The concept includes both renewable energy sources and an energy efficient building design. Thanks to “Campus Energy 21“ - a concept which makes sense both economically and ecologically - it will be possible, in comparison to a conventional concept, to reduce the cost of the energy required at the Campus - including that for the office complex, production facilities, technology center, etc. - by around 40%. In addition Dürr will emit around 2,100 tons less CO2 than would be the case if a conventional approach were taken.  Both the energy efficient design of the new building complex and a mix of five resource-conserving sources of energy are major contributors to this reduction.

Savings highlights:
- 40% lower energy costs
- 2,100 ton reduction in CO2 emission
- A new office complex that surpasses energy saving legislation requirements by 60%
