Quality orientated: The Dürr Cyclone

An orientation towards high quality standards needs to be initiated right at the start of the painting process. For this reason Dürr offers customers its EcoFilterMulticyclone as a means of filtering larger and smaller particles out of pretreatment baths: The effect of their installation: increased process quality and less manual rework. As a result, on average amortization of investment takes less than three years. 

Not only can EcoFilterMulticyclone be installed together with new plant and equipment, re-equipping of existing pretreatment lines can also be carried out quickly. This is taken care of by Dürr Service with its worldwide network of support antennas.

Dürr's innovative color changer EcoPurge LCC

At the recent Hanover Fair 2008, Dürr presented the EcoPurge LCC color change system, an innovative technology that not only reduces paint losses but also shortens process times when colors are changed.

In the automatic painting installations of automotive manufacturers and subcontractors, the paints for the painting must be provided flexibly in the color desired by the customer. For this, a purgeable color change system is needed. The color change must occur quickly, paint losses must remain minimal.

With the new EcoLCC color changer, each color is activated by means of docking to the relevant paint valve. The EcoLCC does not have any common paint channel anymore. The paint hose leading to the paint atomizer has the same length for all paint colors, paint carryover or the intrusion of paint through defective valves are technically impossible.

The paint color changer is usable with basic technology and high performance for all paint and charging systems in the exterior and interior painting in new systems and for reconstructions. It can be designed variably for 12, 24 and 36 colors.
