Now, customers can take advantage of this expertise in the form of paint shop assessments targeted at increasing productivity and discovering optimization and minimization potential that can lead to real cost savings.
A Dürr paint shop assessment includes a thorough inspection of the paint plant and equipment over a period of several days, together with the preparation of a detailed report of the findings as well as concrete proposals for improvements. Prior to the evaluation, information on layout, process sequence and any existing problems with the paint shop are provided by the customer, who also defines his goals and priorities. Dürr and the customer then jointly determine individual focal aspects of the assessment such as capacity and quality adjustments, energy efficiency improvements or compliance with statutory regulations or requirements.
During the on site inspection, the team of Dürr experts checks, records and evaluates relevant structures, processes and any problematic areas. The comprehensive evaluation report, containing details of all findings, forms a solid basis, on which subsequent decisions can be made. Taking the customer’s own standards and guidelines into consideration, concrete optimization measure proposals are worked out and agreed with the customer. A management summary provides a brief transparent overview of critical points in the paint shop.
In addition to the assessments themselves, Dürr makes all its market and technological knowledge and expertise available - whether in relation to single measures, modernization programs or new paint shops - for the selection and implementation of measures designed to ensure that production is sustainably effective and cost efficient.
