Vertical adjustable conveyors (VAC)

Vertical adjustable conveyors can be used in conjunction with either electric monorails or the innovative Twin Trolley System® (TTS). Stabilization of the hangers is provided by the scissor lift which also allows height to be adjusted to suit process requirements at each work station. C, T or 4-bar car body carriers can be supplied. The lifting operation is carried out by a PU belt with integrated steel ropes, that is designed for a payload up to 3 tons.

As an option the more conventional busbars can be replaced by FASmotion, the innovative energy and data transfer. FASmotion means less wear resulting in and higher availability and minimized repair and maintenance costs. Swing arms can be supplied for transferring car bodies from overhead to floor conveyors as well as locking systems to secure the bodies in position. Because of their minimized height requirements Dürr vertical adjustable conveyors can be used in almost all existing plants from body in white to final assembly. They are suitable for both stop&go or continuous operation and offer total product accessibility. The standardized, modularized system complies worldwide with automotive safety standards.
