Dürr presented themselves as a reliable partner to Volkswagen AG and, looking back on this year's Hanover trade show, make an upbeat assessment. At VW's BlueMotion booth, Dürr used the three dimensional Powerwall tool to display the design of an energy efficient paint shop. T
he heart of the digital factory shown is Dürr's new dry overspray separation system called EcoDryScrubber which allows saving 60 percent in energy costs of a spray booth. Visitors equipped with 3D glasses were able to 'explore' a virtual factory planned true to life.
Felix Magath, coach of the German First Division soccer club Vfl Wolfsburg, also witnessed the potential of Dürr's digital planning tool.
