Baden Württemberg Environmental Technology Prize 2009

At a ceremony held on June 24, Dürr was presented with the prize, awarded in the category “Technology for the Reduction, Treatment and Separation of Emissionsâ€? by Tanja Gönner, Environment Minister. 

Savings of up to 60% in the energy required in spray booths and of up to 30% in complete paint shops combined with reductions in CO2 and paint particle emissions – these were the EcoDryScrubber facts that convinced the jury at Stuttgart.

With this innovative system of dry separation for wet paint overspray, Dürr was one of the winners presented with the Environmental Technology Prize on the very first occasion of its award by the German Federal State of Baden-Württemberg.

 

EcoDryScrubber:
SURCAR Innovation Award 2009

Dürr’s dry separation system, EcoDryScrubber, has won the 2009 Innovation Award presented by SURCAR, the foremost international automotive paint finishing conference.

EcoDryScrubber, which combines environmental compatibility and cost-efficiency in equal measure, certainly convinced the SURCAR jury at the Paris conference that this year had a “Lean and Green� theme. Jens Holzheimer, EcoDryScrubber Product Manager at Dürr explained, “We are very pleased to receive this Award. With EcoDryScrubber Dürr has developed a reliable and highly functional dry separation system that does not need any regulatory approval and that contributes in an exemplary way to the lowering of energy and unit costs.
