Maximal environmental compatibility is one of the most important claims that customers place on Dürr production systems. For this reason the conservation of resources and reduction of emissions are two of the most important criteria for our product development. In the field of painting technology we have for example advanced the use of solvent-free water and powder paints through the development of corresponding process solutions.

The environmental relevance of our in-plant production is overall low; the focal point at our production sites lies on assembly processes with comparatively low energy consumption and waste. Nearly all sites in Germany and the US implement environmental management systems certified according to ISO 14001. We review criteria such as environmental management and sustainability in the selection of our suppliers.
