With the “Eco+Paintshop” Dürr is setting standards in sustainable automobile painting. The simple formula is: less is more. We strive constantly to reduce all input materials, to maximize their reuse during the painting process, and to optimize the recycling of any waste that is left. To achieve this, we examine and improve all the major and minor processes, interfaces and components.

During your trip you saw how Dürr Eco+Paintshop helps protect the environment and reduce production costs. You can see these benefits in numbers too. To paint a body, Eco+Paintshop requires only 500 kilowatt hours of energy. Ten years ago almost triple the amount was required. VOC emissions are 70% less than ten years ago; for fresh water and waste water we witness a savings of approximately 60%.
