Also called Cash Flows from Operating Activities.

The increase in the cash flows available to an entity arising from its trading activities. Normally shown in a statement of changes in financial position (also called a statement of cash flows) as gross revenue less expenses that involve the movement of funds but can also be set out as net profit adjusted for items of income and expense that do not involve the movement of funds. See Accounting Standard AASB 1026.
