Changes in the Supervisory Board of Dürr AG, Stuttgart

On July 3, 1997 the Supervisory Board of Dürr AG elected Dr. Walther Zügel, former Chairman of the Board of the Landesgirokasse, Stuttgart as Deputy Chairman. This office has so far been held by Dr. Rolf-E. Breuer, spokesman of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt am Main. Dr. Breuer and Professor Dr. Hermann Simon, Chairman of the Board of Management of Simon, Kucher & Partners Strategy and Marketing Consultants GmbH, Bonn, have resigned from office with effect from the end of the Shareholders' Meeting.

Dr.-Ing. E.h. Heinz Dürr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Bahn AG, Berlin will remain Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The Shareholders' Meeting elected Jörg Menno Harms, Chairman of the Board of Management of Hewlett-Packard GmbH, Böblingen, and Dr. Tessen von Heydebreck, member of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt am Main as members of the Supervisory Board.
