Dürr again increases dividend

Record earnings in business year 1998 / further growth planned

At its meeting on April 28, 1999, the Supervisory Board of Dürr AG accepted the proposal put forward by the Board of Management to propose an increase in dividend by DM 0.30, i.e. by 20%, to DM 1.80 per share at the shareholders' meeting on June 30, 1999.

The Dürr Group's sales in the business year 1998 were up by 12.2 % to DM 2,108 million (previous year DM 1,878 million), thus having reached an all-time high. Growth in earnings before taxes was more than proportionate to sales. Dürr AG will announce the final figures for the business year 1998 at the financial press conference on May 19.
