Ralf Dieter appointed to Dürr AG's Board of Management

Ralf Dieter (43) will become a regular member of Dürr AG's Board of Management effective January 1, 2005. His appointment was decided by the Supervisory Board at its meeting last Friday. Mr. Dieter will assume responsibility on the Board of Management for the Ecoclean (cleaning systems) and Measuring Systems business units, which have been under the management of CEO Stephan Rojahn. This will now allow Mr. Rojahn to devote himself more to the Paint Systems business unit, which he has managed on an acting basis since Dr. Reinhold Grau left the company at the end of October.
Ralf Dieter will remain in personal union Chairman of the Board of Management of Carl Schenck AG, Darmstadt, a wholly owned Dürr subsidiary. He has held that position since May 2003.
