Dürr receives "Award of Excellence" from Volvo

Stuttgart, April 25, 2006 – Dürr was presented with this prestigious „Award of Excellence“ in recognition of the company´s excellent performance in 2005 and of the significance of the contribution made by Dürr in support of the achievement by Volvo Car Corporation of its own corporate targets.

The „Award of Excellence“ has been presented annually since 1998 and reflects the traditions and key values that are part of Volvo´s corporate culture – safety, environment care and quality. Out of more than 5,500 components and capital equipment suppliers, only a total of 20 are selected to receive the award. Dürr was one of only two suppliers in the capital equipment supply business.The award presented to Dürr honors the excellent work put in on a great many projects covering almost the full range of Dürr product portfolios and involving the Paint Systems, Application Technology, Factory Assembly Systems and Cleaning and Filtration Systems business units. The projects were mainly modification and modernization measures.
