02/08/2017

Bietigheim-Bissingen, February 8, 2017 – The Supervisory Board of Dürr AG has appointed Carlo Crosetto to the Board of Management with effect from March 1, 2017. The Italian (45) will take over as CFO from Ralph Heuwing, who will be leaving Dürr in May at his own request. The Dürr AG Board of Management will then consist of the following members: Ralf W. Dieter (CEO), Dr. Jochen Weyrauch and Carlo Crosetto.

Klaus Eberhardt, Chairman of the Dürr AG Supervisory Board said: "Mr. Crosetto is an experienced CFO with a wide range of tools. He is a versatile top manager with extraordinary international experience and good knowledge of the automotive and engineering sectors."

Carlo Crosetto studied business administration and began his professional career at the Daimler Group in 1993, where he held different management positions. These included Commercial Director of Mercedes Benz Thailand, CFO of the Mercedes joint venture with Chinese carmaker BAIC in Beijing, and Commercial Director of Mercedes AMG. In 2010 Carlo Crosetto moved to the conglomerate RMA Group in Bangkok, where, as CFO, he was instrumental in the company's expansion until the end of 2016. The manager spent a total of 14 years in Asia.

As CFO of Dürr, Carlo Crosetto will be responsible for finance and controlling, investor relations, legal affairs, global sourcing, and corporate social responsibility.

In view of Ralph Heuwing's upcoming departure, Klaus Eberhardt said: "Mr. Heuwing has contributed a great deal to the positive development of Dürr in the last ten years. He has efficiently organized the finance department, introduced a modern, Group-wide IT structure, and helped to shape Dürr's further strategic development. Under his direction, Dürr has gained an excellent reputation in the capital market. The Supervisory Board would like to thank Mr. Heuwing for his highly successful work over many years and his entrepreneurial commitment toward Dürr."
