Dürr AG has now finalized increase of capital stock

The announced equity participation of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG in the Dürr technology group announced on May 15, 2000, has now been finalized. In a letter dated 15.08.2000, EnBW announced - in compliance with ß 21 WpHG (German law for security trading) - that its voting rights in Dürr AG are now 9.08 %; this corresponds to 1,298,200 common bearer shares.
Further major shares in the company are held by the Heinz Dürr family with voting rights of 50.0 % and by BWK GmbH Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft with voting rights of 5 %. Shares held by private and institutional investors amount to 35.92 %. After the capital stock increase, the share capital of Dürr AG now totals EUR 36.6 m, with a total number of 14,298,200 common bearer shares.
The enhanced capital base contributes significantly to the continued trend in profit growth of the leading international manufacturer of production systems and provider of services for the automotive industry and other industries. For the current fiscal year 2000, Dürr is expecting Group sales totaling EUR 1.7 bn (previous year: EUR 1.2 bn) and a double-digit percentage rate in growth of earnings.
