Dürr AG: Retirement of Two Members of the Board of Management

• Responsibilities Reorganized

After over 30 and 20 years respectively of service for Dürr, the members of the Board of Management of Dürr AG, Rolf Haueise, 62, (Paint Systems Business Unit) and Bernward Hiller, 61, (Protecs and Environmental Business Units; Human Resources) will go into retirement as at 31.12.00.

At its meeting on 06.12.2000, the Supervisory Board of Dürr AG has therefore reorganized the responsibilities for the business units and centralized functions within the Board of Management of Dürr AG.

When the new fiscal year begins as of 1.1.2001 responsibilities will be as follows: Hans Dieter Pötsch (Chairman of the Board of Management), Dr. Wolfgang Baur (Finances; Investor Relations; IT; Human Resources), Frank Haun (Automotion and Protecs Business Units and Carl Schenck AG), Dr. Reinhold Grau (Paint Systems Business Unit), Dr. Norbert Klapper (INTX, Services Business Units incl. BOT contracts, Environmental; e-Commerce).
