New Chief Financial Officer at Dürr

Kay Bönisch has been appointed full Member of the Board of Management of Dürr AG by the Supervisory Board with effect from November 1, 2003. Mr. Bönisch will assume responsibility for Finances and Controlling (CFO) effective from February 1, 2004.

The present Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Wolfgang Baur, will leave the company effective January 31, 2004 to pursue a new professional function.

Kay Bönisch (43) is presently CFO at Heraeus Tenevo AG, Hanau. Prior to this, he held several leading positions within the Heraeus Group and worked with Andreae-Noris-Zahn AG and the auditing company Treuarbeit AG. He is a graduate in business studies ("Diplom-Kaufmann"), tax consultant and Master of Business Administration of the Pace University, New York.
