Dr. Reinhold Grau has left the Dürr Board of Management

Dr. Reinhold Grau (50) has left Dürr AG's Board of Management at his own request effective as of October 31, 2004. His area of responsibility, the Paint Systems business unit, will be temporarily headed by Board of Management Chairman Stephan Rojahn until a successor is selected.

Dr. Grau joined the Dürr Group on October 1, 1990 and became a regular member of the Board of Management on October 1, 2000. At the beginning of 2001, he became head of Paint Systems, which is the Dürr Group's largest business unit with sales of about Euro 1.2 billion. The Supervisory Board thanks Dr. Grau for his achievements in expanding the market leadership of Paint Systems.

The Dürr Group is one of the world's leading suppliers of production systems and manufacturing support services for the automotive industry. In 2003, Dürr achieved sales of almost Euro 2.3 billion with about 12,750 employees.
