Dürr completes HOMAG integration: change in the Board of Management and the Supervisory Board of HOMAG Group AG
Bietigheim-Bissingen, June 15, 2015 – The Supervisory Board of HOMAG Group AG has appointed Pekka Paasivaara (53) as CEO of HOMAG Group AG with immediate effect. Together with the other Management Board members, Pekka Paasivaara will drive the reorientation of the HOMAG Group. Ralph Heuwing, who also serves as CFO at Dürr AG, will remain Co-CEO of HOMAG Group AG during a transitional period until September 15, 2015, and is then to take over as Chairman of HOMAG's Supervisory Board, replacing Ralf W. Dieter, CEO at Dürr AG. Ralf W. Dieter will remain a member of HOMAG's Supervisory Board.
Ralf W. Dieter: "We are convinced that Pekka Paasivaara will successfully continue the reorientation of HOMAG Group AG initiated by Ralph Heuwing. Pekka Paasivaara has a wealth of experience in automation technology and plant engineering. The change in the Board of Management comes at the right time, especially because Ralph Heuwing's dual role at Dürr and HOMAG was only sustainable for a limited period of time."
Ralph Heuwing: "The integration of the HOMAG Group and the Dürr Group has now been completed. The company is making good headway. The forthcoming changes require the greatest attention from those at the top of the company. I would like to continue to be personally involved in the development of HOMAG as active Chairman of the Supervisory Board."
