DESCRIPTION OF TEAM: The Financial Controlling team is responsible for supporting business performance through financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The Shared Service Controlling Team supports the division controlling through efficient financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The focus is on ensuring data quality across all processes and on the continuous improvement of procedures and standards.
Active support and review of Group companies in connection with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as in the planning process—with a particular focus on data-driven validation and innovative automation approaches. Collaboration on cross-functional IT projects with a focus on finance and controlling.
Tasks:
- Ensuring and monitoring data quality in all controlling processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cost center management)
- Preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports and performance indicators for the division
- Assisting in the development and implementation of quality standards and control mechanisms for financial data
- Identifying, analyzing, and documenting data discrepancies, and initiating improvement measures
- Collaborating with local and international stakeholders to harmonize and optimize controlling processes
- Maintaining and analyzing financial data in SAP R/3, Afo, HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- Assisting with monthly and annual financial closings, with a focus on data integrity and process quality
- Preparing ad hoc analyses and reports to support management.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field such as Procurement, Economics or Supply Chain Management.
- 10 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, or Finance.
- Strong ability to analyze and ensure data quality.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP R/3 (SAP FICO preferred).
- Optional experience with consolidation files like HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
- High level of personal responsibility, a structured approach to work, and a drive to improve processes.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
