Your Tasks:
- Responsible for the engineering and commissioning necessary for PLC, HMI, and robot controller software to operate electrostatic painting systems using robotic automation
- Create and commission software for programmable logic controller (PLC), human-machine interface (HMI), and robot controller
- Communicate effectively with other project team members, including the project manager and the engineering team staff, and with customers as required
- Utilize Siemens, RS Logix, Wonderware, HMI, KEBA RPC controllers, Ladder, STL, SCL, PASCAL programming, vision systems, electrical and mechanical maintenance, and paint supply systems commissioning to perform duties; assist in the development of written information as required for operating manuals and other internal and external documentation; adhere to project schedules and work as part of a cross functional team; and prepare and submit site status reports.
- Location: Southfield, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;
- Salary: $130,250 per year.
Your Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
- Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as a Controls System Specialist, as an Electrical Controls Engineer, as a Lead Project Engineer, or in a related occupation;
- Will accept three (3) years in the position above, as a Controls System Specialist, as an Electrical Controls Engineer, as a Lead Project Engineer, or in a related occupation in lieu of the primary education and experience requirements.
- Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year’s use of all the following: Siemens, RS Logix, Wonderware, HMI, KEBA RPC controllers, Ladder, STL, SCL, PASCAL programming, vision systems, electrical and mechanical maintenance, and paint supply systems commissioning.
- Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience
