We are looking for experienced and highly motivated Manager Shopfloor who will join us in Beinasco. In this role you will be responsible for leading all activities related to shopfloor manufacturing, assembly and quality control. This role ensures cost effective management of direct employees, external contractors and services while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and supplier performance. This position plays a key role in coordinating production activities, optimizing production processes, supporting operational continuity and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Your Tasks
Shopfloor Management
Manage the full production cycle from arrival of material to shipment including material placing on the shopfloor and around assembly areas, mechanical and electrical assembly, coordinate software validation together with Engineering department, check material incoming quality control, manage internal quality buyoff and customer final buyoff.
Define sourcing strategies for external services in coordination with Purchasing Dept.
Coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring deadlines, quality, and safety standards are respected.
Monitor subcontractor performance and implement corrective actions when needed
Manage Quality Control Dept (resources, budget, activities, processes)
Support facility manager to coordinate facility related activities, budget investments
General Responsabilities
Lead and develop the Shopfloor Team providing coaching, performance feedback and professional development
Develop and execute production strategies that optimize cost, quality and delivery
Follow DURR Group and Durr Italy rules and processes
Support the co-operation with the Production Dept. of other DURR entities
Support with your teams the successful execution of customer projects from order intake to final acceptance, meeting costs, quality, and timing targets
Implement standardized manufacturing processes, tools and best practices
Improve introduction of KPIs to measure the quality and progress of the team activities
Active participation at the various Project Meetings, etc. to share and define strategies and decisions within the project team
Define and manage assembly and testing quality checklists
Schedule manufacturing activities
Update Durr scheduling templates on a weekly basis
Use Project Center tools for production activities
Prepare periodic reports for Management
Set up a manufacturing hour tracking
Manage and update Manufacturing Quality Management process and present it during the Yearly Quality Audits

Ensure on-time, on-budget and high-quality production deliveries for all projects
Establish a strong Manufacturing culture built on transparency, accountability and continuous improvement
Improve standardization and efficiency in Shopfloor processes
Improve cross-department collaboration to optimize project execution and reduce inefficiencies.
Your Skills
10+ years of experience in shopfloor manufacturing management within automotive, industrial automation or plant engineering
Proven leadership experience guiding manufacturing teams in the above-mentioned field within international Groups
Knowledge of manufacturing control systems and SAP
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Understanding of project management, budgeting, scheduling
High problem-solving ability, decision-making skills and a structured, proactive working style
Capability to foster teamwork, build trust and create a positive performance culture
Willingness to travel internationally when necessary.
