Your Tasks:
- Responsible for coordinating all installation/commissioning activities from start of site preparation until end of installation/commissioning, and interfacing with the customer; maintain personnel safety during the site project phases and ensure safe site conditions; ensure first aid box available on site and in office, including list of first aiders; responsible for installation/commissioning organization on site; keep updated transfer of obligation; make sure that installation/commissioning follows customer specifications; build check list update; responsible for site infrastructure setup according to Durr standards; ensure that site safety organization and procedure is established and organized; follow environmental request, ensuring waste disposal is clarified and organized; ensure all necessary project information is available on site; control and monitor site logistics according to latest standard and procedure, including storage area; ensure customer instructions are issued and regularly updated; ensure Durr site team is using Durr standard working clothes; ensure cleanliness during installation; responsible for local transportation organization with project management and senior manager during site operation; ensure that extra work request procedure is followed up on by all; make sure that punch point procedure is followed up on by all; maintain installation and commissioning time schedule, initiate counter measures and catch up on plan in case of delays; escalate time issues that could endanger project milestone; utilize OSHA regulations compliance, SAP, commissioning, troubleshooting, general assembly and vehicle manufacturing equipment maintenance, estimation, cost control, procurement, resource allocation, site design, project management, and site management to perform duties; ensure all handed over material on site is documented; ensure L&D procedure is followed by all; update site coordination meeting template daily; make sure that supplier kick-off meeting takes place; ensure final quality of installed equipment; update personnel plan on information wall and on server; ensure all necessary information is posted on information wall; ensure all installation documentation is organized on the site server; ensure key issues for installation are posted on meeting room wall; make sure that all engineers are reporting checklists and progress on time; create, update and distribute weekly report; monitor and organize installation punch points; organize daily internal and customer meetings; ensure that all site engineers are using Durr standard tools; collect installation documentation; and ensure that all people leaving site first clean up their materials and make a proper handover to their substitute.
- Location: Southfield, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;
- Salary: $161,450 per year;
Your Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as an Electrical Site Supervisor, as a Site Manager, or in a related occupation;
Will accept five (5) years in the position above, as an Electrical Site Supervisor, as a Site Manager, or in a related occupation in lieu of the primary education and experience requirements.
- Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years’ use of all the following: OSHA regulations compliance, SAP, commissioning, troubleshooting, general assembly and vehicle manufacturing equipment maintenance, estimation, cost control, procurement, resource allocation, site design, project management, and site management.
