LiCAP

Field of expertise: Battery production 

Dürr and LiCAP Technologies are collaborating in the field of dry coating for resource-efficient electrode production. Dürr's X.Cellify DC system implements LiCAP's Activated Dry Electrode® process, in which a powder mixture of battery material is pressed into a free-standing film and then laminated onto both sides of the collector foil. Compared to conventional wet coating, this technology saves energy, space, and operating costs while increasing material efficiency.
