Bolt picking x-elect

The new x-elect automatic bolt picking system from Dürr is a huge leap forward in assembly automation, bringing with it the benefits of greater precision, less manual work and a lower fault rate.

The key element of the x-elect is a 3D camera system that identifies and selects parts in a container before picking them using a robot with a gripper, without the need for human intervention.

The great benefit of the x-elect is that the bolts are taken directly from the original transport packaging, which removes the need for reloading and additional sorting and vibrating stations that are part of Pick&Place systems. That means x-elect can quickly integrate new components without manual intervention, eliminating sources of error and ensuring higher quality.

x-elect can also be used outside of the marriage process.

This automatic bolt picking system lets you simulate and test its integration into an existing station in a virtual commissioning with all the functions. This means you can optimize your station layout in advance to ensure that the integration runs as smoothly as possible.
