Your Tasks
- Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will be responsible for managing the Service function within the MPS Division, delivering growth in line with business strategy and supporting the business to achieve financial targets.
- You will achieve effective operation and co-ordination of Service personnel and any sub-contractors and their activities, to ensure successful completion of Service projects and warranty claims.
- You will ensure effective technical support, servicing, maintenance and repair of customer’s plant and equipment which may include elements of installation, modifications and commissioning.
Your Skills
- Experience of managing service and parts operations in capital equipment, mechanical engineering, or industrial machinery sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of high specification capital equipment, machinery, or related mechanical systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, support and motivate a skilled team of engineers.
- Exceptional organisational abilities with a focus on detail, process optimisation and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging confidently with customers, suppliers, and internal teams at all levels.
- Commercially minded, with experience driving aftermarket revenue through service contracts, upgrades, and parts sales.
- Proactive, hands-on problem solver with a customer-centric approach and commercial awareness.
- An understanding of company financial reporting systems and the ability to manage project costs.
- Capable user of Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM systems.
- Be flexible in approach, working well independently and within a team, and willing to support other areas of the business when requested.
- Based at our head office Warwick, under a home / office hybrid working arrangement, you will need to be flexible with regard to travel and working time since this role could take you around both the UK and occasionally overseas.
