The innovative roll, brake and ABS test stand in the “x-road InLine” assembly line is an alternative to conventional drive-through test stands at the end of line. No matter whether you want to perform an ABS test or a comprehensive brake test.

Roll, brake and ABS tests with InLine testing

With the roll, brake and ABS test stand Dürr developed for vehicle final assembly, the existing conveyor system transports the vehicles in the assembly line to the test stand. Indexing pins fix the hanger in position while the InLine test takes place there.

The wheels are already mounted on the vehicles for the test. They act as the interface with the test stand. Roller sets with the appropriate drive technology are used in InLine testing for roll, brake and ABS tests.

Straightforward function test stand integration into the assembly line

The revolutionary InLine testing plan by Dürr for the first time enables the dynamic roll, brake and ABS tests to be relocated from their traditional location at the end of line into the assembly line itself. What’s more, this method enables fully automated testing to be performed without a driver.
