EcoSmartCure – The compact and cost-efficient straight-through oven

The state-of-the-art and cost-efficient EcoSmartCure straight-through oven has a compact design and is installed on only one floor level in the paint shop, which makes maintenance and servicing particularly easy. Smart heating solutions also keep energy consumption to a minimum and this can be reduced even further by the use of intelligent software modules. Carefully designed nozzle systems provide the best possible drying results for all types of vehicle model.

Compact solution on one floor level

The EcoSmartCure oven has an integrated design. All the oven units, including the heating and cooling systems and the fresh air heat exchanger, are located on the side of the oven tunnel to save space. As a result, the entire oven system can fit on one floor level within the paint shop and no steel platforms are required. This makes it cost-effective and allows maintenance and servicing work to be carried out easily and conveniently.

Energy-saving heating system

The heating system in the EcoSmartCure consists of a carefully coordinated combination of a thermal oxidizer (TAR) and a newly developed, highly efficient fresh air heat exchanger. This system makes maximum use of the energy available and significantly reduces heat loss via the roof because of the very low exhaust air temperature.

The additionally available intelligent EcoSmart VEC fresh and exhaust air control system keeps energy consumption to a minimum when the oven is operating under partial load. The EcoSmart VEC adjusts the oven to the current heat requirement by feeding in less fresh air during phases when the oven’s capacity is not being fully used. This results in a reduction in energy use and in CO2 emissions of up to 50%.

Excellent drying results for all vehicle models

The EcoSmartCure oven offers a range of different options for designing the layout of vehicle paint shops. The CFD-optimized air ducting system directs the air to the exact location where it is needed to heat the body. This means that the nozzle system of the EcoSmartCure can bring even complex bodies, such as those of electric vehicles, up to the necessary temperature quickly and evenly.
