Your Tasks
Responsible for technical coordination and decisions regarding technical issues in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and the specialist departments; control projects to achieve minimal manufacturing costs and schedule targets; act as general contact person regarding technique, quality, and target dates of a project; support and substitute the Senior Project Manager in the case of an absence; utilize paint facility project execution, Paint & Final Assembly Systems (PFS), paint application systems, layout design management, FMEA, SAP, design-build management, quality control, AutoCAD, global automotive OEM project management, and Visio to perform duties; responsible for technical communication with the customer; and responsible for technical clarification of the project with the customer, in collaboration with the engineering areas.
Location: Southfield, MI and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $148,500 per year;
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree)

Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Lead Project Engineer, as a Project Manager, or in a related occupation;
Will accept five (5) years in the position above, as a Lead Project Engineer, as a Project Manager, or in a related occupation in lieu of the primary education and experience requirements.
Your Skills
Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years’ use of the following: paint facility project execution, Paint & Final Assembly Systems (PFS), paint application systems, layout design management, FMEA, SAP, design-build management, quality control, AutoCAD, global automotive OEM project management, and Visio.
