Your Tasks
- Develops and implements with support of a cross functional project team (operations, sales and engineering) the strategy for the execution of the project scope in order to achieve the project performance and cost goals.
- Works towards reducing costs and expenses where possible, without sacrificing safety or quality.
- Develops and manages project schedules, milestones, deliverables; works with sales, operation and engineering teams to ensure quality and timeliness of all deliverables for all assigned customer projects.
- Manage project risks and opportunities.
- Perform equipment sizing calculations and develop specifications for purchased components
- Direct mechanical design resources to complete project drawing package.
- Responsible for correctness of technical specification, prices and other commercial terms.
- Responsible for decision to guarantee time, financial, quality and safety performance to maximize the allocated project(s) scope's goals achievements.
- Responsible for controlling the sub-contractor doing all performance mentioned in contract.
- Addresses project timing issues by deciding on actions and leading them in consideration of the defined strategy. Immediately informs management
- Ensuring the follow up receivables and payables
- Develop scopes of work for equipment installation and manage completion of the install using third party contractors (if necessary)
- Oversee system commissioning performed.
- Provides appropriate reporting to all stakeholders such as customer, internal teams and management; manages the internal and external communication process.
- Constantly monitors and reports the necessary key performances indicators. Takes proactive approach regarding all necessary actions
- Through personal example and leadership, maintains Dürr’s reputation for outstanding customer support and project quality.
- Lead project status review meetings with the project team, business line leaders, and the customer.
- Support and enforce all company safety, quality and ethics policies and procedures.
- Supporting commercial lead in the risk review process; define and quantify risk during the quote phase.
Your Skills
- B.S or A.S degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in Project Manager
- Ability to understand contract language and customer specifications.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to perform at a high level within a team environment.
- High level of mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrates flexibility and capability of handling multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Superior analytical, problem solving, and computer skills.
- Self-starter with ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Overseas work due to overseas business trips
- English ability is an advantage
