Tasks:

  • Build high performing teams, focusing on ever-improving team dynamics 

  • Implementation and operation of global server systems (MS Windows Server; Ubuntu Linux) 

  • Setup, administration and deployment of cloud (Azure, AWS) and on prem Server 

  • Performing release, patch and update management 

  • Setup and management of VMware vSphere environment 

  • Fileserver management 

  • Backup - management and monitoring 

  • Administration of applications in cooperation with service providers 

  • Implementation of predefined standards 

  • Maintenance and further development of the existing monitoring software for monitoring the server and system landscape 

  • Processing of IT tickets on 2nd level 

  • Documentation of the infrastructure and services 

  • Global on-call service 

Requirements:

  • A Graduate with B. E / B. Tech, MCA or equivalent degree. 

  • Subject-related training (e.g. IT specialist) or a comparable degree in the IT field

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience

    • Cloud Technologies Microsoft Azure, AWS

    • Microsoft WIN Server Operating Systems

    • Linux Server Operating Systems

    • VMware (vSphere)

    • Backup & Recovery (Veeam)

    • Monitoring Tools (CheckMK / Nagios)

    • Powershell Scripting

    • Active Directory

  • Knowledge of performance testing, optimization and database reporting

  • Agile working and international work

  • Excellent communication skills
